Some readings

  • We work a lot with Matlab in this class, so here's a nice online tutorial aimed specifically at physiology .
  • Since we spend a lot of time in this course with the fly Sarcophaga bullata , here's a paper which shows its ventral nerve cord in some detail.
  • At the end of the course, we use skin conductance recording to build a lie detector. Here's Professor Higgins' favorite author describing how to fool a lie detector.
